The foods we choose represent our single biggest single environmental impact. And there is a brand that is bringing us new products to help with that. Seth and Spike from Eat The Change met back in 2017 at a food policy panel at George Washington University. The always eager salesman/entrepreneur, Seth brought along a cooler of Honest Tea and Beyond Burgers, and snuck it under Spike’s chair. Though initially skeptical of veggie burgers, Spike cooked up some Beyond Burgers at home for his family, including his wife who is vegan, and was hooked!
From then on the two started collaborating on food innovation concepts guided by Seth's track record for mission based entrepreneurship and Spike's expertise in creating indulgent dining experiences. Eat The Change was born. We got to try some of the foods, and we love trying new foods and being adventurous, and if it is healthy and tasty, all the better of course!
Carrot Chews - The guys were hungry for a better snack. But after searching for an organic, whole foods based gummy, there were limited options. So, they developed Carrot Chews, infusing organic carrots with organic fruit juice, and dehydrating them to create a craveable, chewy texture. The result is the vegetable-based and tasty take on this favorite snack that's better for you and our planet.
Just Ice Tea - Honestly…..the guys (and many others) were heartbroken when their beloved tea brand was discontinued. After growing with them for 23 years, organic farmers were left stranded. They couldn’t let that happen. Besides, fans were thirsty. So the guys got brewing.
The farmers do more than grow the tea leaves and spices for the bottled teas. Through fair trade and organic farming, they provide a more just, healthier way of life for their communities and our planet - and healthier options for you. This is just ice tea, but it’s also so much more.
Mushroom Jerky - Change up your typical snack with Mushroom Jerky, made from minimally processed, whole food ingredients.
With only 150 calories per pouch, this jerky contains an excellent source of vitamins B2 (riboflavin) and B3 (niacin), and is better for you and our planet!
