Victoria Amory Condiments

On January 19th, at the 39th annual Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, Greenwich-based chef, author, and hostess extraordinaire Victoria Amory debuted a new all natural line of gourmet condiments and sauces. At the illustrious food and beverage trade show - the largest of its kind on the West Coast - Amory joined over 1,300 of the nation's top specialty food and beverage purveyors to debut nine new creations. Each of Amory's artisan condiments - including a Catalan-inspired Almond and Garlic Romesco Sauce, an aged sherry vinegar and roasted garlic-infused Sherry Ketchup, and a Red Chili Piri Piri sauce made with specialty Arbol peppers - is designed to transform the everyday meal into an effortless feast.
Easy elegance has become the life philosophy of Madrid-raised Amory, who learned the art of gracious entertaining from her parents, the Count and Countess de la Maza. "Our house was always full of family and friends," Amory recalls. "Every meal was memorable." Today, Amory finds pride and pleasure in creating the same warmth and welcome for her friends, family, and fans. With the conviction that every occasion should be an opportunity to give back to those she loves with pride, pleasure, and a touch of sophistication, Amory has made sharing the secrets of graceful - and practical - hospitality her life's work. Amory's newest product line is the latest incarnation of that work.
With three delicate mayonnaises, three creative ketchups, two peppery piri-piris, and one classic romesco sauce, even the simplest dish can be dressed up for dinner. Touch up a classic BLT with Roasted Garlic Mayonnaise made with fresh lemon juice and real eggs, Amory suggests. Pair Fine Herb Mayonnaise inspired by the lush Basque region with crispy coconut shrimp as fun fusion fare. Dash a splash of spicy Green Piri Piri on fresh feta cheese for the perfect tapas platter dip. Add handcrafted Champagne Ketchup, infused with sweet roasted garlic and freshly pressed olive oil, to a mix of vodka, freshly ground pepper, and lemon when guests are in need of that emergency Bloody Mary.
As Amory would say, "Brilliant!" She debuted nine specialty condiments: Green Chili Piri Piri, Red Chili Piri Piri, Almond and Garlic Romesco Sauce, Roasted Garlic Mayonnaise, Fine Herb Mayonnaise, Classic Lemon Mayonnaise, Sherry Ketchup, Champagne Ketchup, and Smokey BBQ Ketchup.
