Say Goodbye To Back Pain

Chicken Soup For The Soul: Say Goodbye To Back Pain by Dr. Julie Silver

About The Book:
Almost everyone experiences back pain at some point in their lives. Many people suffer far more than they need to and are looking for help. This book offers that help, combining inspiring and comforting Chicken Soup for the Soul stories written just for this book and accessible leading-edge medical advice from noted physical medicine and rehabilitation expert Dr. Julie Silver of Harvard Medical School.

My Thoughts:
This was a great book for me to read, and to share with Jason. Some of you may know this already, but Jason is a Disabled Army Veteran. He injured his back pretty severely while in service. He of course recieved all the care and treatment he needed, but sometimes his back still bothers him. So this book was very useful to us. It was informative, and also inspiring to read the personal stories of others with back ailments.

About The Author:
Dr. Julie Silver is a Harvard Medical School professor and expert in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and chief editor at Harvard Health Publications.

I received a complimentary review copy of this book from Shelton Interactive. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

  1. I really need and want this book. I injured my back 13 yrs ago. It's just got worse over the yrs.I have 4-5 herniated discs, arthritis and sciatica which is so painful. The worst part is I can't take anything for pain because I've had allergic reactions to all the narcotics I've tried for pain. I'm taking nerve meds for the sciatica and neuropathy but it doesn't take the pain from the sciatica away much. I have to get another MRI then go see a surgeon. It's taken me 13 yrs to finally get a chance to see a surgeon. My insurance doesn't like to pay for much. Please Thank your husband for protecting my freedom and I'm so sorry he was hurt.God Bless Him and your family.

  2. Apply ice to your back when it is feeling sore. Using ice on your pain is a simple and effective way to get immediate relief for any back pain. Ice will quickly reduce swelling to the entire area, which will automatically reduce pain sensations. Avoid putting ice directly on skin. Chiropractors Denver CO
