We got to try two flavors of the rum cakes. Original Golden Rum Cake with walnuts: The most popular flavor! Tortuga "Original Golden" Rum Cakes with walnuts are baked fresh daily in the Cayman Islands. They use only the finest ingredients in their famous rum cakes. The only preservative used is the specially blended "5 year old", oak barrel aged Tortuga Gold Rum. Each cake is individually hand glazed then vacuum packed, ensuring a shelf life of 6 months, or indefinitely if refrigerated or frozen.

Pineapple Rum Cake: The Tortuga Pineapple Rum Cakes are baked fresh daily in the Cayman Islands. Both flavors were very good, but personally I preferred the original. You can definitely taste the rum, and the flavor, texture - the whole experience - reminds me of the Caribbean!
