We are into eating better for you foods. Not just because of wanting to lose weight or any intolerance to foods - but for overall health benefits. Callan is super active these days and on the go and Jason and I would like to better our health and longevity. And a lot of the foods we love do not come with yummy healthy options. Enter, Jovial Foods!

Jovial Foods, Inc. was founded by Carla Bartolucci and her husband Rodolfo in 2010 after discovering that their daughter's health issues were attributed to sensitivity to modern wheat and gluten. Jovial creates allergen-friendly, ancient varietal, and artisan crafted foods that are manufactured in Italy using traditional old world techniques. Jovial Foods is available at national, conventional and mass stores. Additional jovial products such as einkorn flour, brown rice pasta, einkorn crackers and cookies, beans, and jarred tomatoes can also be found on the website. Here are a few of the delicious items we tried:

100% ORGANIC ITALIAN DICED TOMATOES - Grown on small family farms in Italy, the tomatoes are harvested when very ripe, so they are naturally sweet and delicious with no additives or salt. Tomatoes are packed in glass jars, the purest packaging available, just like home canning of garden tomatoes, but without all the work. Enjoy a great Italian tomato year round!

Jovial brown rice lasagna is as close to traditional as gluten free can be. Don't worry! If you prefer wavy noodles over flat, they offer those too.
