Forca Foods #Vegan

National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month officially kicked off in May, and it might almost be over - but it is always good to have healthy food in your arsenal. Forca Foods is a snack brand that makes energy bites out of watermelon seeds that are organic, dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free, soy-free, contain absolutely no preservatives, and are vegan, and free from major allergens.

Founder Guilherme Maia Silva studied Plant Sciences at UC Davis where he dove deeply into the world of sustainable agriculture. Silva wanted to create a snack that was not only healthy, vegan, and delicious, but one that was also better for our earth. Forca Foods understands just how important it is to care not only for one’s body but the planet as well. The brand makes it easy for anyone to do both at the same time, without making them feel deprived, through deliciously healthy snacks made out of watermelon seeds, a superfood. Simply by choosing their energy bites, you are saving 2.8 gallons per pouch versus when you consume almond-based protein bars; their nut-free trail mixes allow you to save 9.3 gallons of water per pouch versus traditional trail mixes. 

The energy bites were great! A nice on the go and good afternoon pick me up. I would love to try the trail mix, I think it would be a hit with my family as well - since we enjoyed the energy bites so much!
