In Book 3, the Creature Campers will have to work together to conquer their biggest challenge yet: the Camp Moonlight obstacle course....of DOOM!
Norm, Oliver, Hazel, and Wisp will have to cross the monkey bars without landing in the ooey, gooey mud, crawl on their bellies through a tire tunnel, and climb a towering challenge known as The Wall - all while blindfolded! As the campers take turns leading, they learn that sometimes it’s good to be small, and sometimes it’s good to be tall, but it’s always good to face a challenge with friends who cheer you on with every step, hop, stride, or wing flutter. And a little unexpected help when you need it most never hurts, either!
About The Author And Illustrator:
Joe McGee teaches creative writing at Sierra Nevada College. An avid cartoonist, board game player, and role-playing gamer, Joe is also the author of the Junior Monster Scouts chapter books series and three picture books: Peanut Butter & Brains, Peanut Butter & Aliens, and Peanut Butter & Santa Claus. He lives in the mountains of West Virginia with his wife (also a children’s author) and their puppy, Pepper.
Bea Tormo is a children’s book illustrator by day and a comic artist by night. She lives near Barcelona, Spain, where she enjoys being part of a community of artists. Besides children’s books, Bea works on comic books, magazines, webcomics, and fanzines. She especially loves drawing grumpy people and monsters.
