Walk To Remember #MasonsMission

Today is the first year that Jason and I are able to participate in the walk to support organ donation and remember Mason. We are so excited to be able to do this with family and friends. The Sharing Life Foundation has raised more than $260,000 over the past 15 years. They help families meet some of their most basic needs: buy groceries, pay medical co-pays, pay for life-sustaining medications, pay electrical bills, rent, mortgage, transportation to the hospital and much more! In addition, they have supported programs in high school health classes and initiatives at the Department of Public Safety educating the public about organ donation and transplantation. All proceeds support their mission: Providing financial grants to families going through the organ transplant and donation process. Contributing to programs at LifeSource that educate the public about the need for donation. Supporting Dr. Lake's research at the University of Minnesota to find a cure for Hepatitis C.
