The Centering Corporation #Giveaway
The Centering Corporation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education on grief and loss for professionals and the families they serve. The Centering Corporation was founded in 1977 by Joy and Dr. Marvin Johnson. The Centering Corporation has done remarkably well in the industry, with a current compilation of over 500 resources for grief and loss including their own magazine - Grief Digest.
As a lot of you know, we lost our youngest son, Mason, in 2011. The grief for us is still fresh and new, and probably will be for awhile. Centering Corporation sent me some great materials that have been very useful to me.

Hitch Your Hope To A Star By Nan Zastrow
In a world complicated by fear and grief, we have difficulty focusing. We have lost the energy and spirit that allows us to move forward. We look for any spark of hope that will give us inspiration. We want to believe in all the possibilities of a future not yet written. In this book, Nan demonstrates the power of words. She creates vivid pictures that allow the reader to be present to the moments she describes. She writes about rebuilding identity after loss, transformed relationships, and the small victories leading to hope. Read this book in doses so you can feel and absorb the "hope." Give this book as a gift to someone who needs reassurance that we are resilient human beings who survive the roller coaster experiences of life, and grow from our experiences.
Grief Digest - the new, reader-friendly magazine will include the best writers and speakers in the field of bereavement. There will be interesting articles on coping and dealing with grief, help for the caregiver and most of all, the usual quality and support you expect from the Centering family. Add to that a tremendous editing job by former Bereavement Magazine publisher Andrea Gambill and you have a quarterly support group at your fingertips.
One lucky reader will win a year-long subscription to Grief Digest! But please only enter this giveaway if you or a loved one could use the magazine for support. Thank you.
