“The Wedding Band: Season One” DVD Available June 11th!
You’ve been planning your wedding day since your teens. You know exactly what dress you’ll wear, what shoes, what jewelry and even who your bridesmaids will be! But do you know what songs you’ll dance to?
It may not seem like a difficult thing to put together but in reality, figuring out the music for your wedding can be both stressful and time consuming. Unless brides have a wedding coordinator, the music details will be one of the last items that brides will tackle – and when they do, it won’t be as enjoyable as picking music should be.
No one knows the importance of music more than Brian Austin Green.
In his latest show “The Wedding Band,” Green plays the lead singer of a fun-loving Seattle rock band called Mother of the Bride. Alongside his band mates, he experiences outrageously funny ups and downs! They haven’t figured out their personal lives, but they do know one thing for sure — weddings are the best place to meet women, drink up and rock out. Featuring A-list guest stars like Megan Fox and Molly Sims, this Wedding Crashers-meets- The Wedding Singer comedy mash-up marries the two key elements to any great party - terrific music and lots of laughter.
“The Wedding Band” (Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment) will be in stores June 11th but the advice for picking music below, is great for weddings held in any season:
The Wedding March
Felix Mendelssohn's "Wedding March" in C major, aka the traditional wedding song we all know was written in 1884 but you don’t have to walk down the aisle to the “Wedding March” if you don’t want to. Our advice is for you to choose a song that means something to you and your groom. A few alternatives below:

Your dad is the first man you ever love. For brides who have lost their father, this dance is particularly difficult. Whoever you choose to dance with, if at all, pick a song that would make your pops proud!
