The Voices Of Serial Killers

The Voices Of Serial Killer by Christopher Berry-Dee &Victoria Redstall

About The Book:
Combines the bone-chilling words of today’s most vicious killers with horrific accounts of their murders and crime scenes. Brutal crimes torn from the headlines, grizzly facts from the coroner reports, and unbelievable revelations from the trials. Voices of Serial Killers provides all these details plus one more: each murderer’s chilling perspective on his own heinous crimes. Author Christopher Berry-Dee, a world-renowned investigative criminologist, enters the world’s toughest prisons for one-on-one interviews with some of history’s most diabolical criminals. Voices of Serial Killers presents an unflinching look into the mind of the murderer. Each of the sadistic murderers profiled in this book was once someone’s neighbor, coworker, or child. But something went wrong and they snapped. In one chilling chapter after another, this book lets readers hear for themselves the most frightening thing of all: “What are these maniacs thinking?”

My Thoughts:
This book is fascinating, yet really creepy. Especially the chapter on Michael Tyrone "Big Mike" Crump. Some of these cases I have heard about, some of them not. They were all very intoxicating, to me anyhow, as I am interested in how the human mind works, and what makes a person do the things they do. This is not a light read, and it is not pretty, but it sure intriguing.

About The Author:
Christopher Berry-Dee is the Editor of The New Criminologist and Director of the Criminology Research Centre. He has written numerous books on murderers and serial killers. He was also the research and interviewer for a 13-part TV series in the UK entitled The Serial Killers.

I recieved a complimentary review copy of this book from Ulysses Press. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
