"80 years ago, Chet Enstrom started perfecting the art of almond toffee. By 1960 his almond toffee had begun to develop a reputation, and at the urging of family and friends, Chet and his wife Vernie founded Enstrom Candies in Grand Junction, Colorado. Now their granddaughter Jamee and her husband Doug Simons are at the helm, the thrid generation of candy craftsmen."
I was able to try their World Famous Almond Toffee. All-natural, World Famous Almond Toffee is crafted from a perfect blend…fresh California almonds, sweet cream butter and pure cane sugar, covered in a generous layer of rich chocolate and sprinkled with crushed almonds. It is to die for! I could have sat there and ate the whole box in one sitting, it was so good. But I didn't. I savored it, and it was so delicious! Enstrom's also sells other products other than the toffee. They sell Gourmet Chocolate, Sugar-free Candy, Toffee Popcorn, and Customized Gifts.
