Dragon's Gift

Dragon's Gift by Elizabeth Gaines Johnston

About The Book:
Dragon s Gift, Book One in the Gilded Serpents Trilogy, is a thrilling tale of intrigue, complete with faeries, demons, mystical pendants, and dragons. An ancient evil threatens the kingdom of Princess Kwyleeana. After awakening from a coma, she befriends the dragon, Baelwyn, and learns of an impending war. She begins a journey throughout the land and neighboring kingdoms in an effort to stop an evil prince from destroying her kingdom and marrying her! Throughout this quest, Kwyleeana and her friends encounter faeries, kidnappers, love, and a demon-possessed forest. With its twists, turns, and shocking surprises, you will find Dragon s Gift hard to put down.

My Thoughts:
This is a great adventure book. It is actually quite a long read, so I read it myself first, but in the future when Callan is a bit older, I plan to read it to him/with him. Some of the names are a bit hard to read or pronounce, but other than that, the book flows great, and it turns out to be an excellent story! Can't wait to read the next two books!

About The Author:
Elizabeth Gaines Johnston has been writing for almost as long as she has been able to hold a pen. With her BA in English and comparative literary studies, and a minor in history, she placed special emphasis on the medieval era, intrigued by the sense of honor, romance, and harsh realities of daily life. An avid fantasy and history reader, she also enjoys seeing and performing in the theater. Recent years, however, have brought more drama to her Granada Hills, California, home as she, as a single mother, raises her two sets of identical twin sons, James and Thomas (age 10), and Robert and Stephen (age 5). Elizabeth is very excited to see her books in print, and is eager to bring you Book Two and Three, which are already written, and currently are in the editing phase.
