Recipes For Living

Recipes For Living by Ali Bierman

About The Book:
Recipes for Living: Fuel for Your Family's Body, Mind and Spirit shows parents how to make everyday living fun. With good-for-you recipes that kids can help prepare, games the family plays together, and even ways to explore spiritual (not religious) practices, this book explodes with original ideas that turn the hum-drum into Yes! Kids grow up so fast. These activities get everyone together to enjoy the time they have rather than hassle or, worse, sit in front of the boob tube without interacting.

My Thoughts:
This is a great book, especially when your kids come to you telling you that they are bored. There are great easy fun recipe ideas. And great activities! One of my favorites in the mystery picture! Also the hugging game is fun. We play that all the time with Callan, and get lots of laughs and loving! It is a simple easy book, you can flip through and find an activity or recipe that sounds good for the day, and do it. Great bonding and teaching moments!

About The Author:
Ali Bierman enjoyed the challenge of raising two children in a joyful way that created family activities in the kitchen, bedrooms, outdoors and even the spiritual realm. As a teacher, soccer coach and counselor she expanded her reach to children of all ages. She teaches parents that kids grow up so fast they want to take advantage of every precious minute of their youth. She lives by the philosophy, "The more you enjoy life the more life gives you to enjoy."
