Busy With Bugs Review & *Giveaway*

Busy With Bugs by Toni Albert

About The Book: Busy With Bugs provides an ant hill of activity for kids who love bugs and bug adventures. The book buzzes with practical how-to information, fun facts, and 160 exciting hands-on-bugs activities. By introducing children to thrilling, close-up encounters with the little animals called bugs, award-winning author Toni Albert encourages independent learning and personal discoveries. Children can investigate bug behavior, life cycles, and habitats in their own backyards and school yards. Busy With Bugs includes field guide information, stunning art in butterfly colors, silly Bug Giggles, fascinating Bug Buzz with surprising bug facts, a glossary, index, resource list, and guide to keeping bugs.

My Thoughts: I am in love with this book, probably more so than Callan. I am not a “bug person”, but I find them fascinating. I particularly liked the chapter about dragonflies, which are my favorite. I am eternally glad there was nothing in this book about roaches though! Although some of the beetles came close! Eeeks. A very interesting and informative and fun book! Callan and I can’t wait until summer time to investigate!
