SOUL Coming December 25th to Disney+ #Printables

What is it that makes you....you? Pixar Animation Studios’ all-new feature film Soul introduces Joe Gardner (voice of Jamie Foxx) - a middle-school band teacher who gets the chance of a lifetime to play at the best jazz club in town. But one small misstep takes him from the streets of New York City to The Great Before - a fantastical place where new souls get their personalities, quirks, and interests before they go to Earth. Determined to return to his life, Joe teams up with a precocious soul, 22 (voice of Tina Fey), who has never understood the appeal of the human experience. As Joe desperately tries to show 22 what’s great about living, he may just discover the answers to some of life’s most important questions. Directed by Academy Award winner Pete Docter, co-directed by Kemp Powers, and produced by Academy Award nominee Dana Murray. Disney and Pixar’s Soul will be available exclusively on Disney+ beginning December 25th, 2020.

Who Would Win At Minute Math #GiftedMath?

I will admit I suck at math. Even elementary math. Callan is pretty good at it, if he doesn't get flustered. Jason, of course, is the family genius (let's hope Callan gets his skills!) Here are some Minute Math sheets. Print them out and test yourself against your kiddos in a 1-minute face off! I'm going to do this with Callan when I get home from work, so stay tuned for the video! I'm sure the little stinker will win!

Hand Multiplication Facts With #GiftedMath

Frank Adler (Chris Evans) is a single man dedicated to raising his spirited young niece, Mary (Mckenna Grace), a child prodigy. But Franks and Mary’s happy life together is threatened when Mary’s mathematical abilities come to the attention of her overbearing grandmother (Lindsay Duncan) – who has other plans for the girl. You’ll love every moment of this “deeply satisfying” (Edward Douglas, Film Journal International) film, also starring Jenny Slate and Oscar Winner Octavia Spencer. Out on Digital July 11th, and BluRay and DVD release is July 25th!

All week I will be sharing some fun activities (today, you get a double dose, since I am behind! Errr!) First - a fun and easy way to learn how to multiply using your hands. This is how we taught Callan, and I still use my hand to this day while doing math!
