Depress Me Not Candles #Valentines2023

Have I told you how much I love candles? I mean, I have an obsession with them. To burn, to smell, to decorate. Any kind. But when I find a brand I love, I stick with it! And when there is a story behind it, all the better - especially if it resonates with me, and this brand certainly does!

Depress Me Not Candles is a great company where a portion of the proceeds are donated to the National Alliance of Mental Illness and the Vision House, a transitional home for homeless families with children in the creator's home city in Renton, Washington. Divina makes handmade candles with all the love in her heart and attention and is designed for anyone that is battling with depression or anxiety. The candles are a reminder that there is still beauty and love in the world and that you are not alone. She chose this line of business as she herself has previously struggled with depression due to an abusive relationship and she would like to help others feel a little less alone during their down moments. So she asks customer's to light her candles and do what makes you happy.
I got a few of the candles, and let me just say I am in love. They are not only cute and artsy - each candle has it's own design on the jar, but the inside - beyond the tantalizing scents, it is gorgeous. There are flowers embedded in the wax, and they last all the way through the entire burning of the candle, so every time you look at the candle, you see these beautiful floating flowers! The inside of the lid has a message for you. Makes me smile every time I see it. These are the kind of candle jars you keep afterwards! And, the burn time is average 40 hours, but I have burned mine for a full 8 hour work day for almost 2 weeks when I work at home and it is still going. So they last quite a long time - and the scent. Oh lord! So soft, so nice. Of course they are all different, but the current one I am burning is Nose In A Book, and it is hard to describe but so lovely. The description is: flora, French lavender, Egyptian amber, black myrrh, tonka bean, Egyptian musk, sage, coconut and apricot.
And of course, the candles are perfect gifts for all year long - but Valentine's Day is coming - super fast! I like the Truth Or Dare - the pineapple sage, bamboo and cucumber mix.  I am a fan for life and have just ordered some more candles. I can't help it! These are the real deal and I love them! And I made a custom candle too! So cool! I cannot wait for that to come! The art is custom - You choose what scents you’d like and what color of jar they’d look right at home in – Depress Me Not does the rest.

The Best Gifts For University Students

Each year, branded merchandise plays a significant part in universities, from freebies at the Fresher's Fair to graduation presents, university gift shops, and clothing with the logos of the student union. Everyone enjoys a free gift, and when it comes to university life, campus-branded merchandise really makes students feel like they belong.

The secret to making practical promotional gifts for students is to design a branded item that is both useful and fashionable. More than ever, students recognize the value of branded freebies. Many undergraduates will keep the branded gifts they receive during freshmen week, especially those that include branded notebooks, drink bottles, USB memory sticks, pens, and other items that will be useful to them as they work toward graduation. Whether incoming first-year students or seniors beginning their final semester, college students deserve a gift that makes their lives simpler (and less stressful!). We have identified the best gift suggestions that any college student would be delighted to receive, ranging from the hottest fashion to self-care products. Find our carefully curated list of the top presents for college students below.

Fountain Pens

University souvenirs are a great way to thank and show off your alma mater. Whether it's for a special occasion like a graduation or a reunion or just as a token of gratitude for a job well done, there are plenty of options. For example, a fountain pen is a great choice. These pens have all the features of a traditional pen with a few more bells and whistles. It can also be a thoughtful gift to guests or a present for departing employees.

Another great option is the Heritage Gear. You can choose excellent university merchandise from this shop.

Extension Plug with USB Ports

College students use a lot of devices that need to be charged. However, dorm rooms always need more outlets to plug everything in. An extension plug is an answer. They can make the most of the small socket space they share with their roommates. Just be sure to choose one with surge protection to prevent expensive items from being damaged!

Ready-to-Microwave Egg on a Bagel Maker

Most college students who live in dorms only have access to one appliance at any time: the basic microwave. Fortunately, with some imagination, it can be a very versatile cooking tool. In addition to transforming eggs into an instant omelet, this ceramic plate is the ideal size for a mouthwatering bagel sandwich. Sandwiches on bagels are the best grab-and-go food by far. Because you can include a small amount of each, such as whole grains, protein, and even greens, they are a well-rounded meal. Skipping breakfast will only be an option with a fuss or a mess. Students place a high value on convenience, so you can bet an egg on a bagel will be popular.
