Busy Minds Box #Holiday2022

Busy Minds Box is a monthly subscription box designed to help promote better brain health and quality of life in older adults. This is especially important to me as I have a grandfather with advanced dementia and I have early onset. Perfect for aging parents and grandparents, each Busy Minds Box features a fresh new theme each month and hours' worth of fun and engaging activities designed to target different areas of the brain. Activities include custom arts and crafts, puzzles, games, books, and more! This is also a great box of activities to do with family and kids too. Though it is geared for adults, doing crafts together can help engage the mind and enforce a bond.
We received the Gratitude Box, which was great for this month with the Veteran's Day Holiday and upcoming Thanksgiving. The activities included a Thanks Bank to keep track of the 30 Days of Thanks notes also in the box. You Rock painting kit - leaving painted rocks around for others to find is all the rage these days. We did some "Blackduck Rocks" in our local city before we moved to Florida. And then in Florida we found a painted rock in St. Augustine. Very cool. There is an activity book of mazes, which is really fun! And the Pumpkin Weaving placemat activity. And then the Thank A Veteran card, which is already addressed and stamped for you to send to a veteran. A random act of kindness - which I had Callan partake in.
