DTOCS Tableware

We have been trying to be more eco-conscious in all areas lately. Actually, it has been for a long time, but I think now that Callan is old enough to "get it" it has become more and more of a teachable situation. So we were delighted to be able to try DTOCS Palm Leaf Tableware.

DTOCS tableware is made from naturally fallen palm leaves. They are chemical free, plastic free, compostable, microwave safe, elegant, and single use disposable. The company employs a majority female workforce and part of the proceeds from sales go towards improving education for the poor local communities in India.

We got the oval plates. Each plate is made from natural palm leaf and measures 7”x5”, and is sturdy, non-toxic and made from a chemical-free production process. Biodegradable and compostable. They have a natural aroma and woody texture.

Of course there are many more sizes and shapes than this, and a variety to fit your hosting needs. We found the plates durable. Not only did they hold up to my snack plate above but also to our fried chicken dinner as well.
