I have always had a fascination with the United Kingdom, partly because my grandmother is from there, and we still have family there of course. For my graduation from high school my grandfather treated me and my mother with a trip across the pond to visit our relatives there (grandma had passed away by then), and it was the trip of a lifetime for me. I would love to go back. One of the most exciting things for me was visiting London. All the sites and sounds, and how different it was than America. So whenever I get the chance to pick up little novelty items or London souvenir items, I jump at the chance.
I scooped up this London Double Decker Bus and Taxi set, and am giving it to Callan for the holidays, as he loves all things diecast and cars. The London big red double decker bus and black taxi mini models are made of diecast metal. These are actually pull-back and go action mini models, or friction models that you can actually play with, but I know Callan will probably not even open them, he will want to display them as they are beautifully made.
