Butter and Lye is a natural soap company committed to creating products that are simple and gentle on your skin. Full of what your skin needs and free from what it doesn’t, Butter and Lye bar soaps provide the perfect clean without artificial fragrances, colors, or any of the toxins that leave your skin feeling dull, dry, and damaged. The cold-processed formulas are developed by biochemist and New York native Monique Garraud Kofsky, who sought an alternative to the commercial soap products that wreak havoc on our skin and our planet. As a result, she created a soap collection that is full of good-for-your-skin natural ingredients packaged with eco-consciousness in mind.
We got to try a few of the bars, and they are good for the face, body, and the hair. They all smelled great, and left me feeling clean and soft. I even feel safe having Callan using these soaps. And, shhh, do not tell anyone, but Jason even stole the Winter Spice one!
Pink Clay Bar - The pink clay natural soap bar loves multitasking. It will not only efficiently clean your face and body, but it will exfoliate your skin while it’s at it. Rich in silica, Pink Clay’s exfoliating properties increase cell renewal and skin elasticity, leaving your skin soft and smooth.
Rosehip Bar - This all-natural rosehip face and body soap is chock full of nourishing vitamins that help moisturize, reduce redness, and prevent scarring all while improving texture and tone.
Limited Edition Winter Spice Bar - The limited edition Winter Spice bar will make your shower smell like winter except you’ll be nice and warm! Made with cinnamon and clove, this naturally scented bar helps stimulates blood flow under your skin, leaving it bright and radiant.
