Big Barker is the makers of the only bed clinically proven to improve the quality of life of big dogs!
These beds are uniquely engineered to keep dogs youthful for longer
and bring older dogs back to their best. And while Glory is still technically a puppy at 20 months old (dogs are "puppies" until 24 months), she had a luxating patella (knee) injury and needed surgery, and it may have caused her to permanently be sore and arthritic. She limps around like an old lady, and it is really sad to see. So I was pretty happy when I heard about Big Barker dog beds.
In a clinical study conducted by University of Pennsylvania, owners reported that the Big Barker bed reduced joint pain and stiffness, improved joint function and gait, and led to improved nighttime restfulness in large dogs with arthritis. It is quite a fascinating read, you can check it out here!
So we got Glory a bed, with a headrest, and she loves it. She likes her pillow and blankey. Yes, be quiet, she is a baby, my baby. She covers her own self up with a blanket, it's cute. The bed is great! She sleeps well on it, and when she gets up she doesn't seem as stiff as she has been. Plus the bed is fairly easy to move around, and could easily be transportable. The cover comes off to clean, and you can buy different colors as well. This bed has been a very good thing for her. We are so happy!
