Texas Instruments Calculator - TI-84 Plus CE

We all know Texas Instruments for their calculators I am sure, correct? But really they are so much more. They are a pretty dang cool tech company. They do things with the military and robotics. It is pretty cool if you do some research and learn about all that Texas Instruments does. But, mostly, we lay people all know about the cool calculators we coveted in school - am I right? Callan just scored a new graphing calculator and his first words were "Man, this things is futuristic!"
TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator
30% lighter and thinner than earlier generation TI-84 Plus models
Vibrant backlit color screen
TI Rechargeable Battery
Available in a variety of fun colors
Preloaded apps and images
MathPrint feature
Visualize concepts clearly and make faster, stronger connections between equations, data and graphs in full color. Enhanced screen readability with high-resolution, backlit display. Distinguish between multiple graphs and plots with color-coded equations, plots and objects. Make graphs easier to read by adding grid lines. Approved for exams. The TI-84 Plus CE is approved for use on the following exams: PSAT, SAT, and ACT college entrance exams. AP exams that allow or require a graphing calculator. Approved for use on the IB Diploma Programme exam.

Obviously this is pretty intense for regular math - but it does do that too. But this is awesome because it will help Callan down the line, not just for math such as Algebra and Calculus (and me with simple Division because I still use my fingers, ha ha - for real though) but also science, and especially because he is so creative and he wants to code as well, and you can use a graphing calculator for that - who knew? This calculator is super sweet and I dig it, but not as much as Callan does.
