BraveHoods - Amazing Cause For #Holiday2020

When I feature companies and businesses on my Holiday Gift Guides, if it is a business that backs a cause or charity, I love to promote it all the more, and this one got me right in the feels, so I wanted to share early about it instead of waiting. BraveHoods is a pediatric cancer organization. They gift hoodies to kids with cancer and their siblings. They also sell the hoodies and for each shirt sold, one is gifted. Everyone likes a comfortable hoodie, right? In 2011, The Yacht's five-year-old daughter was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of sarcoma. Heartbreaking. You never think it will be you, as I well know that feeling. So why hoodies? First, being bald when you are a kid really stinks (duh). The BraveHoods help them to manage stares from curious kids and adults. It also helps with temperature regulation and sun burns. They were looking for a way to be fashionable and cute, plus comfy, as well as looking for inspiration, for a way to support and empower these brave kids. And, that was the inspiration for BraveHoods and hence, the words of inspiration emblazoned on all of the hoodies. The messages of hope and courage are a constant reminder – to the wearer and to families and friends – to live with hope and optimism. The folks at BraveHoods were awesome enough to send me some hoodies to check out, and I am gonna rock them with pride and spread the word to anyone who asks where I got my shirt. Here's what I got - in super cool packaging by the way:
It's All Good Hoodie - Sometimes we all need a reminder to take a breath and appreciate the love that surrounds us. The "It's All Good" hoodie fits the bill perfectly. This lightweight hoodie is soft and so comfortable you won't want to take it off. The 100% cotton material makes this shirt so soft. Printed in the USA.
Mandala - This is the newest design and a current favorite. This lightweight triblend ladies' hoodie is the perfect blend of style and comfort. It is almost black and has a V-neck and would look great with your favorite pair of jeans. The Mandala is printed in silver ink. Printed in USA.
Cardigan - Everyone needs a little help in the courage department sometimes. This lightweight hooded cardigan has a small logo on the left side, but also a hidden message on the inside, near your heart. This hidden message will help to keep you grounded and brave. Available in Dark Grey. Printed in the USA. Mine says You Rock!

Today, Meredith, The Yacht's daughter, is a healthy, spunky, and joyful girl. She is cancer free and doing great! And, BraveHoods is thriving. The Get One/Give One program has shipped hoodies all over the globe. They have delivered hoodies – and their messages of hope and resilience – to children and families in hospitals and clinics across the U.S. And, they're not going to stop. To date, they have given away over 6,000 BraveHoods. They look forward to a time when they don’t have any kids to give BraveHoods to, but until that time, they will be giving. And that is awesome!

Check it all out at BraveHoods on Twitter, as well as BraveHoods on Instagram.
