Vertellis was founded by three Dutch friends: Bart, Liz, and Lars. Willem, a fellow Dutchman living in the US, later joined the group to help bring Vertellis to the States. Today, Vertellis has team members spread across the globe, all working toward the mission of changing how people connect in our fast-paced, technology-driven world. Comprised of a bunch of talented digital nomads, you can find members of Team Vertellis working remotely in Germany, France, Sweden, the US and beyond!
So what is Vertellis? Vertellis helps you make deeper connections with your family, your friends, and even yourself. They have a card game, and also journals. The card game has cards that ask questions to start a conversation and engage each of the people you play with. Actually talking to one other, and your cell phones are put away, set aside, ignored. I was really interested in the journals, one for myself and one for Callan.
I got the Vertellis Chapters for myself, because I thought it would be a good way to have some down time, some me time, and also maybe help me sort out all the jumble going on inside my head.
A #1 best-selling mindfulness journal! We're constantly busy, trying to juggle the many commitments we have, day in and day out. we rarely take time to pause and reflect. With Chapters, you can change this! This "personal coach" in the form of a book helps you become more aware and positive in life. The powerful questions in this journal help you focus on the things that really matter. Take a valuable moment of self-reflection to get more out of your days, reduce stress, and engage in personal development.
Vertellis Kids is a mindfulness journal that parents and kids can enjoy together! Filled with inspiring stories and playful questions, you and your child take a moment to reflect on the day, practice gratitude, and form positive habits. Created for children between 6 and 10, this journal allows kids to step away from screens and teaches them to reflect on their experiences and identify and manage their emotions - all in a fun, playful way! I thought this would be good for Callan to help him sort out some of his depression and anxiety, and understand himself a little better. I do like this, and wish I would've known about a journal like this when he was younger. This was fun to go through with Callan and he did also work independently on it. I do think it was a tad young for him. I think it would be an excellent idea for Vertellis to develop a Teen Edition.
