I Hate #PopUps

Ok...who is with me? Popups are annoying. I know they are a good marketing and call to action tool for a lot of sites, but I just can't. Ugh. One is ok, like hey here is our sales promotion right now. Boom! But like 5? Sale, sign up for email newsletter, spin the wheel for a deal! I mean c'mon! Enough is enough! Am I right or wrong? Are you a blogger who uses them for email sign ups? Are you a company who uses them for promotion? Are they helpful and contribute to your success? Please, I am interested in knowing. And also, who hates them as much as I do?
