The Deep, Now On Netflix!

Currently the #1 animated series on UK’s CBBC, and the #1 animated show in Australia across all networks, the second season of the animated series The Deep made its U.S. premiere on Netflix this Friday, September 22nd. Season One is currently airing weeknights on Universal Kids at 7:30pm EST. Based on a beloved graphic novel series written by best-selling DC and Marvel comics writer Tom Taylor who wanted to write something he could share with his own children, The Deep is a wonderful family-friendly show that appeals to both kids and parents alike. The show follows a multi-cultural family and their adventures and highlights non-violent conflict resolution. The fan-favorite series features the recognizable voice talents of Ashleigh Ball, Vincent Tong, Kathleen Barr, and Michael Dobson.
The Deep follows the Nekton family - a brilliant team of underwater explorers. With state-of-the-art technology and an unquenchable thirst for discovery, the Nektons explore the mysterious depths of the ocean, where most of our world lies unexplored and unexplained. While others look up to the stars, this family knows that an infinite number of things shine brightly in the darkness below. The deep is a place where leviathans swim through sunken cities, where pirates lurk amidst floating black markets, and where a mysterious group of Guardians hide long lost secrets. The Deep is adapted from the Aurealis Award-winning graphic novel series by #1 New York Times bestselling writer Tom Taylor (Injustice 2, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Earth 2,Superior Iron Man, Star Wars: Blood Ties), and illustrated by James Brouwer (Justice League Beyond). Taylor serves as co-creator and lead writer of the series and Brouwer serves as co-creator and art director.
