Barefoot Refresh

The product and promotional item were provided by Barefoot Wine & Bubbly for this review.
Barefoot Refresh, a new offering from Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, is their new take on a wine spritzer – flavorful, refreshing and lightly carbonated. It comes in four refreshing wine blends for only $8: Crisp White: Riesling blended with Chenin Blanc
Sweet White: Pinot Grigio blended with Moscato
Summer Red: Pinot Noir Rosé blended with Moscato
Perfectly Pink: White Grenache blended with Chenin Blanc and Moscato

I was able to try two of the new flavors. The first was the Crisp White. Chenin Blanc and Riesling are a perfect pair. Together, they make for a vibrant and light-bodied wine. The notes of melon and pear are complemented by a fresh lemon-lime finish. This was a very nice flavor. It went down a little too fast, ha ha! I enjoyed it very much!

My favorite was the Perfectly Pink. What happens when Grenache and Moscato go toe-to-toe? A lively blend of mandarin orange and peach notes complemented by flavors of raspberry and cherry. I savored this bottle, as I did not want it to end. It was spectacular! My new favorite!

The great part about these wines is that they can be enjoyed by themselves, on ice, or incorporated as an ingredient in a cocktail! They are also only $8, which is an amazing price! As I said, the Perfectly Pink was my favorite. And it is so good that I looked for drinks to make with it, having the wine as the mixer. Though, I do prefer the wine as is, it is fun to mix it up as well. I mixed the Perfectly Pink with some grapefruit juice, and it was lovely. Great flavor! Go get yourself some Barefoot Refresh, and enjoy a glass while enjoying the Fall weather!
