Pincurl Girls Calendar

Pincurl Girls was created to encourage all of us to love, express and believe in ourselves by choosing good thoughts. Jen Lukas-Landis created Pincurl Girls as a result of her years in graduate school. After a short time in the MFA program, she lost her self-confidence. She didn’t think she was good enough, smart enough or the “right” kind of artist. Those were the hardest three years of her life. Then, she started drawing her inner child to help cope with all those doubts. Her voice was so strong, that even after Jen's confidence returned, her inner child continued to speak to her and was her muse and guidance counselor throughout grad school. Since then, she has matured along with Jen and now they both want to encourage other girls to avoid self-doubt by looking for happiness, expressing their artistic talents and believing in themselves. The Pincurl Girls project includes self-esteem exercises and inspirational wall art.

I was lucky enough to receive the awesome 2013 Pincurl Girls Calendar! Only a limited number were available, and I love mine! The art is cute and great. The sayings are great! I just adore this calendar, and all of the Pincurl Girls art!
