I never took piano lessons as a kid. I always wanted to because it seemed so cool. Oh, I can’t hang out after school today because I have piano lessons! Oh la la! So I was thinking maybe it would be something that Callan would like to do. I know he likes the toy keyboard he has, which is not saying much. But he likes music. Maybe he will be a famous Hollywood piano player someday or something? Of course, I do not want to push him into anything he does not want to do. I don’t know. I just want him to be able to do whatever he wants, whether it be playing the piano or another instrument, or playing a sport, or being in Math Club. My son can do whatever he sets his mind to. Don’t all moms say that? Did you do extracurricular activities when you were a kid? Do your own kiddos do them now? If so, how did they express an interest in a certain thing, or did you just sign them up and see if they liked it? I know Callan is still young yet to think of these things, but it is fun to think about, and see where life will lead him.
