15 Day Blogger Challenge - Day 1

 1. Introduction to this Challenge and tell us a little about yourself!

I feel silly writing this, because most of you here know me - but some of you don't! So here goes! I'm Hayley, 33 on my recent birthday! 33??? Where does the time go? Wasn't I just like 17? Ha! I am married to my high school sweetheart Jason. We've been married 9 years this year, but together for 19! Whoa! He is my best friend, and my one true love. This is where you saw awwww!

When Jason joined the Army after 9/11, we got married and moved from Minnesota to Texas. And that is when I started to blog. I blogged about being an Army Wife and our struggles with infertility - 5 years. That was way back when you could blog on Yahoo 360. But that is no more. Then we did get preggers - yay! And I started the blog called The Momicle Chronicles talking about being a first time mama and my awesome son, Callan, who is now 4. But Jason got seriously injured in the Army, and was honorably medically discharged, and we were kind of in limbo, so I stopped that blog. Then in 2009 we got preggers again, on total accident and surprise - especially after we were told we could no longer have kids. So then I started this blog - Hanging Off The Wire.

I chose the name Hanging Off The Wire, because life was crazy for us then and we were hanging on by the skin of our teeth......skin of our teeth? Is that the right saying? Well, you know what I mean. Anyhow, so I started blogging again - back in Minnesota, and my blogging turned from personal stuff to reviews and giveaways. So that is my main niche now.

We lost our second son, Mason, in August of 2011 to an accident at home. He was a true miracle and put on this Earth so we could experience the true meaning of love. He was not here for Jason and I. He was not here to be our son. He was here to be Callan's little brother, and Guardian Angel. Anyway, if I talk anymore about that, I will get weepy. So....

That's me. You'll get to know me more as this challenge goes on, and if you follow along in my blog. So, cheerio!
