Explore More In Minnesota

I'm sure most of you know that I am from Minnesota - and totally love it here! There are so many great places to visit, and things to do all over the state! But some of my favorite places to visit are right here in the Twin Cities!
The MN Zoo: Discover wildlife and wild places at the Minnesota Zoo. Located on 485 beautiful acres just minutes from the Mall of America, the Zoo is home to more than 4,200 animals from around the world including grizzly bears, tigers, and monkeys. More than one million guests each year experience the Russian Far East, a tropical rain forest, a marine center, northern tundra, woodland forest, and a family farm. Daily presentations like the Coral Reef Dive show, World of Birds Show, and Shark Reef Feedings connect people, animals, and the natural world. And, roaring back to the Zoo through September 3 is Dinosaurs! For more information, call 952.431.9500 or visit
Valleyfair: Valleyfair is the largest amusement park in the Upper Midwest with over 75 amazing rides and attractions including; eight rollercoasters, Soak City Waterpark, spectacular Live Entertainment and Planet Snoopy - with the entire PEANUTS gang and all for one price. For more information, call 952.445.6500 or
The Science Museum of Minnesota: One-of-a-kind exhibits, larger-than-life Omnitheater films, and acres of memorable experiences for all ages. It’s no wonder that the Science Museum is Minnesota’s must-see, must-do museum. This summer, journey into the exciting world of Real Pirates. Touch real treasure, meet swashbucklers, hoist a Jolly Roger, or practice rope-tying, pirate-style! Call (651) 221-9444 or visit for more information.
