Showing Off My Unique Collection In My Home

Guest post written by Renee Fulton

Years ago I started collecting thimbles. I'm not really sure how it happened but before I knew it, I already had 5 or 6 and my husband started picking some up for me when he would go on business trips. Now I have almost 200 of them and I barely even sew! My husband mentioned the other day that I should do something to display these thimbles and I thought that it sounded like a great idea so that's what I'm working on.

I already knew that the perfect way to display my collection would be a series of shadow boxes. I was looking up some perfect thimble-sized shadow boxes and while I was looking I saw something on debt counseling that I knew sounded really great so I took note and I think that we're going to get it.

One other idea that I really liked that I saw was Barbie clothes shadow boxes. We have so many Barbie outfits that are in really good shape back from when I was young and I think it would be a neat thing to display in the kids' playroom. So I'm going to work on putting those together too.

When I look at your blog site in Chrome, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
