They are soft like velvet, and squishy, but not too squishy, and they bounce great. I like the different shapes, some with indents, some with knobby thingies. The kids love playing with them all, and in different ways. Sometimes they are balls, and are played with like balls are normally played with. But sometimes they are buildings in the city that they are creating, or funny different cars. One time I heard Callan using them as people and making them talk in different voices. I just love my children's imagination, and I am just so glad that there are good quality toys out there that let them have creative play!
