Byron's BBQ Pork

Summer is here in full force in Minnesota. And there is nothing better in the summer than a good old fashioned BBQ. Well, since we live in an apartment building, we don't get to BBQ out much. So we were thrilled when we got to try Byron's BBQ Pork! It was amazing!!! "Since 1957, our hand-pulled, hickory smoked pork BBQ has been slow cooked for that down-home taste. Enjoy the restaurant-quality flavor of Byron's Fully Cooked Pork BBQ today!" You can make this in the oven, or in the slow-cooker. Easy! And there is so much you can do with pulled pork, instead of just on a sandwich. Like this great recipe for Layered BBQ Sundae:

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Byron's Fully Cooked Pork BBQ
  • 1 can baked beans
  • 2 cups colorful cole slaw
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
  • 2 cups green bell pepper, diced
  • Pickled okra for garnish

 Preparation

  1. Prepare BBQ according to package directions.
  2. Heat baked beans on the stove on medium heat until warm, about 5 minutes; stirring occasionally.
  3. In the bottom of a serving dish, layer heated baked beans. Then, place an even layer of corn kernels, followed by a layer of green bell peppers. Place an even layer of BBQ on top of the bell peppers, followed by cole slaw.
  4. Place pickled okra on top for garnish.
Check out Byron's online for more great recipes and information! And look for Byron's BBQ at your local Sam's Club!

I received a product from Byron's BBQ and The Buting Group in exchange for a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
