Little Patient Big Doctor

Little Patient Big Doctor by Haleh Rabizadeh Resnick

About The Book:
Turn the pages of this book and take a journey with me. For years, Ethan's allergies limited him primarily to formula as his nourishment. Alex, they told me, could barely hear. "It is what it is. There is nothing you can do about it." Or was there?

My Thoughts:
This book struck a chord with me, as my children have some health issues as well, though minor. Ever heard that the mother is the first pediatrician of her child? Well it is true. Doctors may be well schooled and trained, but a mother knows her child and knows when something is just not right. Most people just assume a doctor is right in the first place. A lot of people either trust too much or are just afraid to ask questions. But how are you supposed to gain knowledge if you don't ask questions? This book helps you to learn the tools needed to get the answers you want from doctors, especially when it comes to the care of your children. I applaud Haleh for sharing her story with us all.

About The Author:
Teacher for 20 years, lawyer at top national law firms, mother and wife, Haleh shares her story from the heart to help others when faced with any medical issue. She writes in a conversational tone, filled with warmth and humor as she shares her experience with her readers.
