Nutella MommyParty

I was fortunate enough to be able to have a Nutella MommyParty with some of my fellow mamas and friends. We had a brunch, and sat around drinking coffee, some of them mixing in Nutella, yummy, and chit chatting. We had a brunch bar with yummy Nutella treats. Really, there is so much you can do with Nutella, it is amazing. I never thought beyond spreading it on toast or crackers. One of the coolest, and most favorite of my Mama Group was Nutella Granola! Here's the recipe:

4 c rolled oats
1/2 c wheat germ
1/2 c dry milk
1/4 c ground flax seeds
1/2 c Nutella
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c vegetable oil
1 1/2 c dried fruit

Combine dry first four ingredients in a bowl.

Heat the Nutella, brown sugar, and oil in a bowl in the microwave until they can be easily stirred together (about 30 seconds). Pour nutella mixture into dry ingredients and combine well.

Spread into large baking pans and cook at 250 for about 45 minutes to an hour, stirring every 15 minutes. If you don't stir it, it could burn. Once the granola is well toasted, let cool and stir in dried fruit.

Transfer to an air tight container and enjoy!
