My Thoughts: Lovely book. The author really does her research and brings the history out in her story. From the beginning you are invested in the story, and can’t put it down. There are some hard parts to read about abuse and such, but it really makes the story more riveting. I just love the character, Tillie. Great story, amazing writing.
