Skin-Peel Review

I've been wanting to do a chemical peel for awhile, but not wanting to go to a spa/salon and pay crazy prices. So when I got a chance to review products for Skin-Peel.com, you can bet I jumped at the chance! I got Jason to try it with me after the kiddos went to bed last night. I admit, I was a little nervous at first. I mean, come on, I was putting chemicals on my face! But it was easy to use, and it went smoothly! Pun intended! Ha. I went to be last night feeling like a teenager with awesome smooth new skin. I couldn't stop rubbing my cheeks. Hee hee. And Jason did not look to shabby either!

We used the Glycolic 30% Peel.
Generally people begin to show signs of aging between 25-30 years old. Now is the perfect time to try Glycolic 30% which will rejuvenate and refresh your skin without showing visible signs of peeling. The 30% Glycolic Peel is one of the most popular strengths. When using this peel you will find light-medium peeling & increased cell turnover, leaving you with smooth, radiant skin. Using a kit will help you heal faster and enhance the natural turnover process. Glycolic Acid, also known as hydroxyacetic acid and Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), is a non-toxic chemical exfoliant naturally found in sugar beets, unripe grapes and sugarcane. Glycolic Acid dissolves the uppermost layer of the epidermis (the corneocyte layer) thus revealing fresh, smooth skin. The exfoliating effect of the AHA acid simultaneously yields increased skin tissue hydration as a result of the new plump dermis’ capacity to bind water. Glycolic Acid improves the lipid barrier function thus promoting healthy skin regeneration and development.
