Banning Happy Meal Toys

Anyone else hear about this? You can read the article HERE. San Francisco might ban Happy Meal toys to deter from rewarding kids for eating fatty foods. I don't think they should ban the toys, I think instead they should ban the fatty foods. Duh. Make it a burger and carrot sticks. Make it naked non-breaded chicken nuggets and grapes. There are other options. And then the toys would be rewarding the kids for eating their vegetables and fruits and healthier choices. See how that works?

Yeah, but those McDonald's fries are so good. Shhhh.

  1. Here from Bloggy Moms Writer's Workshop- I completely agree with you. Banning the little toys that the kids get is not the answer... I also agree that McDonalds fries are AMAZING! I, like you I'm sure, do not eat fast food everyday, however, nor would I allow my child to!

  5. From Bloggy moms...

It's crazy how there doesn't seem to be a valid reason behind the ban....except perhaps the desire to be seen doing *something*
