Gift Baskets For Businesses

For account representatives and business owners, a gift basket is a great way to tell your customers thank you for their business. For an employer, it's a genuine way to show your appreciation for your employees. Before choosing or creating a basket on your own, however, there a few things to keep in mind to make sure you're picking out the right one.

Be Selective
Don't be afraid to be selective when it comes to offering your clients a gift during the holiday season or even as a thank you. For example, if you have 100 clients and only 20 of those make you 90 percent of your money, then don't feel inclined to offer the other 80 a gift, especially if you can't afford it.

Consider the Consumable Goods
It's hard to go wrong when it comes to food. Even if your recipient doesn't like something, they can share it with someone else, making it a win-win situation. Bottles of wine, boxes of chocolates, fruit and assorted nuts make wonderful choices when picking out a gift basket.

Be Personable
Picking out a gift basket at your local retailer is a nice gesture; however, it won't have a personal touch associated with it, making it feel like any other gift someone may receive. Whether it's a personalized greeting card attached to the top or even a customized label with your business name on it, adding this personal touch, even if it's small, can help your basket really stand out. If you're unsure what kind of personalized gift you should create, check with some online retailers before hitting the order now button.

Give Back
On top of offering a gift basket, consider making a small contribution to a charity of your choice or one your recipient may be interested in and let it be known inside a card. This way, your gift can benefit more than just the person it was intended for. No matter how you give or what you choose, the right gift basket, regardless of how it's done, should leave a long lasting and positive impression for years to come.
