The Second Season Review & *Giveaway*

The Second Season by K.D. Richardson

About The Book:
From troubled hometown youth, to 1960's Major League Baseball All-Star, to homeless man lacking any previous memories, The Second Season chronicles the troubled life of William 'Sonny' Wilson through the eyes of Sonny's best friend, Russell Henning. Russell shares the life and times of a young man from a severely dysfunctional Maysville, Kentucky home. A mixture of actual people and historic venues, coupled with literary suspense, spins The Second Season into an irresistible, intense drama of a man against himself as Sonny tries to find his place in life.

My Thoughts:
At first I was not sure if I would like the character Sonny. But of course, I ended up loving him and feeling for him, and well, rooting for him! I love how this author really tells a good tale, and takes you along a journey. You just get so invested in the story, and you want to read it all in one sitting. You do not have to be a baseball fan to like this book. In fact, the book really does not have anything to do with that. This book is about second chances, reconciliations, and learning about who you truly are as a person.
