RelaxZen Review & *Giveaway*

RelaxZen is a line of products that provide stress relief, relaxation, and sleep. Sold in 2.5oz shots, each shot contains the right amount of ingredients to help you stay calm and focused, or to help you sleep better. I got a case of the Day Calm Focus, and a case of the Night Sleep Soundly shots. They both taste great. The Night works perfectly. I have slept soundly for a week straight now, and am loving it. I can't "tell" if the Day formula works as well as the Night formula does for me. But I do know while taking it I am not yelling at the kids, and I am getting things done I need to get done. And, well, that is not normal. I usually am really super-duper stressed and find myself yelling at the kiddos for being...well...kiddos!

The Day Formula  - Stress affects the body and mind. RelaxZen works with your body to de-stress your mind, increase your focus and balance your mood. With natural herbs, vitamins and amino acids, there’s never been a better time to live a RelaxZen Life.

Truffle Truffle

It is no secret that I love chocolate. I mean, I loooove it. So when I got to try Truffle Truffle artisanal dark chocolate truffles, I almost fainted. They were so incredibly good, I had to pace myself or else I would have eaten the whole tin right there. The Truffle Truffle website sells more than just truffles, they also have caramels, a beer & pretzel collection (marshmallows, truffles, brittle, and caramels), s'mores, custom truffle cakes, custom sweetscapes if you are planning an event, and they even do custom gifts with a design-it yourself feature!

"Truffle Truffle is an artisan chocolates & confections company, with a passion for personalization! We specialize in combining artisan confectionary techniques with hand-finished packaging to create gourmet gifts that are designed to spark a smile!"

Trust me, the truffles are top-notch and they come packaged so cutely! Check them out online at Truffle Truffle, and follow them on Twitter, as well as like Truffle Truffle on Facebook!

Power Of Fruit

"Power of Fruit frozen fruit bars blend whole fruits like strawberries, blueberries, mangoes, bananas, & pineapples together with just a little all-natural juice, that's it! No added sugar or chemicals. It's simple. Our frozen bars are actually made of fruit. No weasel words like “including,” “with” or “containing” fruit. There’s no added sugar, corn syrup, preservatives, chemicals or so-called “natural flavors.” We use no ingredients that would disqualify us from a spelling bee. And because they are made completely of fruit they taste great!"

I was really excited to get these for the kids, since they like icee's and freezies. So I let them try them first, and licked my hand when opening them from a little piece that fell off. I fell in love from that one little taste! It was the Tropical flavored one, and I just had to have one. So I did. And then I tried the All-Fruit one. Just as good. Out of all five flavors, the All-Fruit is my favorite, but they are all sooo good! They have the All-Fuit, and the Tropical, as well as CherryBerry, Orange Tango, and BananaBerry. These are not like normal freezies or popsicles. They have real chunks of fruit in them! So so so good. Check out the Power Of Fruit website, as well as follow Power Of Fruit on Twitter, and like them on Facebook!

Chuck E. Cheese Has New Pizza

We went to Chuck E. Cheese the other day, to play, and check out their new pizza! Did you know they had new pizza? Yeah, they revamped their pizza recipe for yummier than ever pizza! It was so good! We all were quiet while we ate instead of the usual chatter. The pizza was so good, we ate it all up! And then we were stuffed, so we had to sit there a minute before we played again, hee hee. I really did not like the pizza before, not quite sure why, can't put my finger on it. So I always used to get the awesome salad bar. But I tried the new pizza, and love it. The dough is great, and the cheese - nummmm! It was all really good. We were not disappointed. Go to your nearest Chuck E. Cheese, and play and eat the yummy new pizza! You can find great coupons for Chuck E. Cheese too, and check out their Facebook for deals and coupons as well!

MN Zoo Penguins

We went to the Minnesota Zoo today and saw the new penguin exhibit. We are members of the zoo, and we go often, and we've been waiting to see the penguins all year! The exhibit opened in early July. And it is worth seeing!

3M Penguins of the African Coast – Exhibit Highlights:
  • 2,000 square foot exhibit
  • 7’ deep pool (15,000 gallons of water)
  • Beach and cliffs for nesting; built-in nest boxes for sleeping and breeding
  • Over 40 feet of viewing, above and below water, through clear acrylic
  • Classroom view into penguins
  • Just for kids: rock and compacted sand formation allowing them a nose-to nose experience with the penguins, touchable bronze models, and penguin eggs will be part of the rock formation
  • A sound system conveying the penguins’ "braying" sound
  • Daily narrated zookeeper feeding demonstrations
  • Two-story realistic landscape mural, highly-detailed rock formations with simulated sea life including shellfish and kelp, creating a replica of South Africa's Boulders Beach, one of the penguins' most famous natural habitats
Here are a few pics of our adventures there, though some are not the best pics, because this exhibit was packed! Everyone was excited to see the penguins!

The spiky haired kid is mine! Hee hee.
Little Mason wanted to get in on the action.

I just love penguins. Probably because penguins mate for life! Love that. One penguin for the other. Plus they are just so darn cute! To learn everything you ever wanted to know about African Penguins, visit Do The Waddle! If you're in the Minnesota area, be sure to follow MN Zoo on Twitter, and like MN Zoo on Facebook. To find out more about the MN Zoo, and all the animals, please visit Minnesota Zoo Online.

    The Help Review & *Giveaway*

I got to see an advanced screening of The Help last night. It was an excellent movie. If you do not know what The Help is, here is a synopsis:
Based on one of the most talked about books in years and a #1 New York Times best-selling phenomenon,  “The Help” stars Emma Stone as Skeeter, Academy Award–nominated Viola Davis as Aibileen and Octavia Spencer as Minny - three very different, extraordinary women in Mississippi during the 1960s,  who build an unlikely friendship around a secret writing project that breaks societal rules and puts them all at risk. From their improbable alliance a remarkable sisterhood emerges, instilling all of them with the courage to transcend the lines that define them, and the realization that sometimes those lines are made to be crossed - even if it means bringing everyone in town face-to-face with the changing times. Deeply moving, filled with poignancy, humor and hope, “The Help” is a timeless and universal story about the ability to create change.

I must admit, I did try to read the book first, but I did not get through all of it. I just could not get into it. So I put it on my shelf, and forgot about it. When I got the chance to see the movie, I thought, ok I will give it a shot. And I was not disappointed! This movie is phenomenal, and I don't think one dry left the theater. Very moving. I highly recommend you go see it when it comes out August 10th.

Want to win some The Help swag? One winner will receive one The Help t-shirt in adult female sizes of S, M, L, XL, one The Help pocket jotter & pen, one The Help fan, and one The Help nail file/mirror. Here's how to enter:

    1. Follow this blog via GFC, the newsletter, or Networked Blogs.
    4. Promote this giveaway on social networking.

Giveaway ends August 10th. Open to US & Canada only. Good luck!
