Truwhip

Truwhip is the first all natural whipped topping that is 100 percent natural, gluten-free, and uses mostly plant-based ingredients. It is free from chemicals, HFCS, hydrogenated oils, and artificial flavors. It contains ingredients such as water, tapioca syrup, cane sugar, and palm kernel oil. The Truwhip original has 30 calories and 2 grams of fat per serving, while the Truwhip skinny has 25 calories and 1.5 grams of fat per serving. “Nobody wants to give up holiday treats, but they also do want to try eating healthier and avoid weight gain,” explains Doug Sumpter, representative of Truwhip, the natural whipped cream alternative. “The good news is there are small things they can do that will make a big difference. The whipped topping they choose for their desserts is one of those small choices that can make a big difference.”
Here are 4 reasons to opt for all natural whipped topping:
1. No chemicals made in a lab. Opting for an all-natural whipped topping means that it’s free of chemicals that no person should be eating. Truwhip is made with all-natural, plant-based ingredients that you can feel good about.
2. No hydrogenated oils. Recently, the government announced it is moving forward with banning such trans fats, because they have been tied to heart disease.
3. No HFCS. Increasingly, people are moving away from eating foods that contain high fructose corn syrup. The healthier whipped topping doesn’t contain HFCS.
4. Less calories and fat than real whipped cream. Natural whipped topping provides a healthier option so that people can still have their dessert topping without having the extra calories and fat along with it.

It’s currently available in the freezer section at stores across the country, including Whole Foods, Walmart and Kroger.
