If your feet constantly feel itchy and peel like dry skin, you may have a fungal condition that can be treated. These symptoms may lead you to believe that you just have really bad dry skin and you must slather and baby it with globs of lotion or foot cream. Your feet may crack, bleed, blister, flake, and peel all around the surface of your feet and in between your toes. This foot disease is caused by a fungus that likes to hang out and grow on the surface of your skin. It is important to keep your feet clean and dry, especially in the summer months after you swim and after you get out of the shower. Try to not wear socks to bed, it is vital to air out your feet and keep the bacteria from rapidly growing and spreading like wildfire. If you prefer an over-the-counter treatment option, you can purchase a special cream or powder with ingredients that can blast away the fungus and keep your feet feeling refreshed and comfortable. If you are a purist and like to use natural or homemade remedies, mix equal parts of vinegar and water in a bucket or bowl and let your feet soak for several minutes. You may have to do this several times a day, but it can blast the fungus and your feet problems away for good.

Athlete's foot is no joke and it is important that you take care of the issue and treat your feet with tender loving care so that they can look and feel healthy.
