House+Marche - January

House+Marche is a new online retail store dedicated to high- lighting the best and the brightest of the small-batch food movement in the South. They release a new box each month full of the best artisan foods from Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, the Carolinas, Mississippi, and Kentucky.
The premiere January box included:
Spice Apple and Beer Jam:
From Copper Pot & Wooden Spoon. Hints of winter spices blended with Porter beer. Great sweet/savory combo. Use with sharp cheeses or to glaze rich meats (such as duck).
Kimel Estate AA:
From PERC. Coffee origin: Wahgi Valley, Papua New Guinea. Whole Bean. Notes of plum, stone fruits, and malt. Great acidity. Reminiscent to the Italian red-wine Aglianico.
Colonial Bohea:
From Oliver Pluff & Company. Pronounced "Boo-Hee." A blend of pekoe black teas. Wonderful, light smoky flavor.
PERC Coffee Chocolate Bar:
From The Chocolate Lab. Fantastic chocolate ganache tempered with PERC coffee, with a beautiful vanilla nougat.
Goat Milk Caramel Chocolate Bar:
Also from The Chocolate Lab. Rich, slightly savory goat milk caramel, with toasted pecans and dense vanilla-honey nougat.

Check it all out at House+Marche on Facebook.
